How a disposable camera app works at your wedding
Three moments: you set up the camera before the wedding, your guests shoot during the reception, and every photo is revealed the next morning at 10 AM. In between, nobody sees a single photo, not even you.
Before the wedding: set up in about two minutes
It all happens in the app, on your iPhone. No account needed.
Name the wedding
Your first names, or whatever goes on the card: “Emma & Tom”, “Camille’s wedding”.
Pick the opening time and length
Five, seven or nine hours. Many couples open at cocktail hour so the camera lasts until the end of the night.
Set the number of shots
Thirty-six per guest, or twenty-four, or twelve if you want it even tighter. The fewer there are, the more each one counts.
Choose the look of your photos
Normal, or one of seven film looks: Velours 400, Riviera 200, Jardin 400, Diapo 64, Disco 200, Cobalt 100 or Argent 100. It is for you alone: your guests see their photos as they were taken. You can change it at any time.

During the wedding: how guests join and shoot
Guests join in ten seconds
They scan the QR code, type their first name, and the camera opens. On iPhone with the app, on Android in the browser, with nothing to install. Joining takes a connection: the first scan needs a signal or Wi-Fi.
Thirty-six shots, not one more
The viewfinder, the shutter, the counter, the flash. Nothing else on screen. Under the last five shots, the counter starts to pulse.
No photo to look at
No thumbnail, no gallery, no delete button. That is what makes guests look up from their phones.
No signal at the venue? No problem
A barn or a vineyard often has no bars at all. Once a guest has joined, the camera keeps working: photos are kept on the phone and upload on their own as soon as the network comes back.
Meanwhile, you can see how many guests have joined and how many photos have been taken, never the photos themselves. If the wedding goes past 10 guests on the free version, the door closes at the 10th guest; you can switch to Unlimited party at any time, even in the middle of the reception.
The next morning at 10 AM: the reveal
At 10 AM, everything develops
A notification goes out to everyone who took part, and the photos appear one by one, like a print coming out of its bath. Before then, nobody sees anything, not even the two of you. The server enforces it.
You sort through them
You see every photo from the wedding. Keep the best, hide the ones that don’t belong, and save your selection to your photo library.
Guests see their shots and your selection
Each guest gets their own photos back, exactly as they were taken, plus the ones you choose to share. Never the whole gallery by default.
You choose the look of your photos
At home, on your phone: Normal or one of seven film looks, applied to your preview and to the copy you save to your photo library. The originals are never altered: try them all on your real photos and keep the one that feels like you.
The wedding day, hour by hour
You pick the opening time and how long it lasts: five, seven or nine hours. Here is a typical day, with a nine-hour roll opening at cocktail hour.
The ceremony
The camera is still closed. That moment belongs to the photographer, and your guests have their eyes elsewhere.
Cocktail hour
The roll opens. Everyone scans the QR code on the table cards, types their first name, and off they go.
Dinner
Toasts, giggles, the table next door. The counter ticks away in a corner of the screen.
The dance floor
No signal in the barn? Doesn’t matter: the photos upload on their own later.
Closing
After nine hours, the camera closes. Nobody has seen a thing, not even you.
The reveal
One notification, and everything appears at once. Just in time for brunch.
How long the photos stay
On the free version, 7 days after the reveal; with Unlimited party, 90 days. The deadline is shown in the gallery. After that, everything is erased automatically, so remember to save your photos first.
