# Film looks for your wedding photos

Your guests shoot however they like and keep their photos as taken. You choose the look of yours afterward: Normal, or one of seven looks inspired by film. Compare them on the same photo below, and change your mind whenever you want.

## Seven looks, one photo

## Normal

No look at all.

The photo exactly as it was taken: no filter, no date stamp. It is what your guests see, and what you keep if you prefer the colors of the day.

To keep the light of the day, with nothing added.

## Velours 400

Soft and warm.

A soft look: warm skin tones, slightly lifted blacks, muted greens and blues. The safest choice when you don’t know yet what light you’ll get.

For any light, and for portraits.

## Riviera 200

Golden and nostalgic.

Warm, golden and richly saturated: honey-colored highlights and the feeling of a summer you already miss.

For summer and outdoor weddings.

## Jardin 400

Fresh and green.

A fresh look: well-defined greens and shadows that lean toward cyan. Gardens and parks feel right at home.

For gardens, vineyards and overcast days.

## Diapo 64

Muted and dense.

A muted look: dense, cool shadows and darker skies leaning toward cyan. It feels like a slide from a family album.

For a wedding with a strong character.

## Disco 200

High contrast.

Firm contrast, cyan-green shadows and highlights that drift toward magenta. A look with attitude, made for the dance floor.

For the reception and the dance floor.

## Cobalt 100

Very saturated.

Very saturated colors, deep blues and reds, and the finest grain of the set.

For skies, the sea and colorful settings.

## Argent 100

Black and white.

Documentary-style black and white: fine grain, deep blacks, darker reds. Anything that happens at one in the morning suits it.

For a timeless gallery.

## What a film look changes, and what it doesn’t

A look adjusts color and contrast the way film does: warmer or cooler skin, lifted or deep blacks, fine grain, and sometimes a soft glow around bright lights. It is inspired by how film renders a scene. It is not a copy of any particular film.

It doesn’t change the framing or the faces, and it won’t rescue a blurry or underexposed shot: the light on the day still comes first.

## Pick it after the wedding, change it anytime

Photos are kept exactly as the sensor took them. The look is your choice, at home, on your phone: it applies to your preview and to the copy you save to your photo library, at 3,000 pixels on the long side.

Switch from Riviera 200 to Argent 100, or back to Normal, as often as you like: the originals are never altered.

## Your guests keep their photos as taken

Guests shoot as they would with any camera: the viewfinder shows the scene as it is, and their photos, revealed the next morning, have no look applied. Still no preview after the shot: that is the disposable camera principle. The look is up to the couple, for their own photos only.

## Questions about the looks

Can we change the look after the wedding?

Yes, as often as you like. The look applies to your preview and to the copy saved to your photo library, never to the original.

Does a look change my original photo?

No. The original stays exactly as the sensor took it, and you can go back to Normal at any time.

Do my guests’ photos get a look?

No. Guests see and receive their photos as taken. Only the couple choose a look, for their own photos.

Does it look like real film?

These are looks inspired by film, not film itself. No digital look reproduces a specific film stock exactly, and we don’t claim to.

What do the names and numbers mean?

Velours, Jardin, Diapo and Argent are French for velvet, garden, slide and silver. The numbers are a nod to film speeds, not a technical spec.

Which one should I pick if I’m not sure?

Velours 400 holds up in any light. Normal keeps the photo exactly as it is.
